Enquiries
When making an enquiry, please include as much relevant information as possible, such as any reference images of the style/design of tattoo you’d like to get, placement of the tattoo on the body and rough size in cm or inches.
I work at Cardinal Room (Horsham) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and at Black Heron Tattoo (Windsor) on Fridays and Saturdays. I also work a monthly guest spot at Long Story Short (Reading). Please let me know which studio you would like to book in for so that I can offer you relevant availability.

Booking
In order to book you in, a deposit will be required to secure an appointment date. The deposit amount will depend on the length of your appointment. All deposits are non-refundable. Deposit payment will be deducted from the final price of the session once the tattoo is complete, or will be carried over for multiple session work until completion.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give a minimum of 3 working days. Last minute cancellations and reschedules will result in you losing your deposit, and you will need to pay a new deposit in order to rebook.
Please note: if you are booking in with me at Black Heron (Windsor), this studio is CASH ONLY on the day.

Designs
Designs are shown on the day of the appointment, where amendments can be made and further discussions and ideas can be explained in person. Due to workload, any emails requesting to see the final design beforehand will not be replied to. Leading up to the date of your appointment, please contact me to notify me of any major changes to what tattoo you’d like to get to avoid any confusion.

Pricing
Session work is priced at £100 per hour, and a full day session is £600. Smaller pieces that are completed in a single sitting are charged individually depending on sizing, placement and detail. A price estimate will be given prior to booking in.

Appointments
Please arrive at your appointment at the given time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early, I will not be ready for you until the booked time, and you will be asked to wait or to come back. If you are running late, please either phone the relevant studio, or email me at marthacarlyletattoo@gmail.com to let me know. If you are extremely late and it is a short appointment, I may not have time to complete your tattoo and you will need to pay a new deposit to rebook another appointment.

Touch Ups
Should your tattoo need a minor touch-up after healing, these are charged at a £10 set-up fee to cover the cost of equipment used. Please contact me with photos of what is needed and I will get back to you with some available dates. If you are planning to book in with me again for more tattoos in the future, it is more environmentally friendly for me to do your touch-up at the same time, as there is less waste, so please be mindful of this :)
